HOW TO PROVIDE ADMIN ACCESS TO YOUR WORDPRESS SITE SECURELY

It’s essential that when diagnosing a problem, running a planned maintenance schedule, or working to fix a problem, we get access to your WordPress dashboard (this is the part of your site back end where you log into WordPress settings, create and manage content).
In order to do this safely and securely so you don’t send us passwords via email, please follow these steps:
CREATE A NEW USER ACCOUNT
DO NOT send login details for an existing user account (like your own). Doing so would mean sending your password by email, which isn’t always secure. So, as shown in the image below:
- Log into your dashboard and Scroll to Users > Add New
- Enter a username and an email address.
- Be Sure the user notification box checked.
- Set the role to Administrator.
- Generate a Password.
We should receive an Email at Admin@Kalun gigroup.com that we have been added to your Admin detail. If we don’t we shall reach out.
Once we receive an email confirmation providing us access to your site and proof of your payment we are good to go.
Why do we ask that you do it this way?
You don’t have to share existing account information and you can delete our account whenever you choose. Or if the contract ends or is cancelled.
